In short: I use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, I use the information you send through the free audit form only to respond to you and provide my services, and I never sell your personal information.

Who I am

This website is run by Gabriel Vazquez, founder of Conversion Crest, a restaurant marketing service based in Southern California. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Conversion Crest. You can reach me at contact [at] conversioncrest [dot] com or (909) 570-1217.

What I collect

Information you give me

When you request a free audit, the form collects your name, restaurant name, city, email address, and phone number. You can also choose to share your website, your Google Business Profile link, the services you're interested in, and a message. If you email, call, or text me, I receive whatever you send.

Information collected automatically

  • Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records how the site is used: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine), your general location (such as city or country), your device and browser type, and actions like clicking a button, opening an FAQ, or submitting the form. I don't send your name, email, phone number, or message to Google Analytics.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the free audit form to check that a real person is submitting it. It processes browser and device information for that check.
  • Server logs kept by my web host may record basic technical details like your IP address, browser, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

How I use information

  • To respond to your free audit request and follow up about my services
  • To provide services if you become a client
  • To understand which pages and features are useful, so I can improve the site
  • To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits and visitors apart. These cookies can last up to two years unless you delete them. Cloudflare Turnstile may use similar browser storage, only for the spam check.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without analytics cookies.

Who I share information with

I share information only with service providers that help run this site and my business, and only for that purpose:

  • Formspree, which delivers free audit form submissions to my inbox
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for site analytics
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile), for spam protection
  • Hostinger, which hosts this website

I may also disclose information if required by law. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long I keep information

I keep audit requests and emails for as long as needed to respond to you and for normal business records. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Your choices

  • Ask me what information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing contact [at] conversioncrest [dot] com.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Ask me to stop contacting you at any time.

California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you specific rights over your personal information.

Information I collect

In the past 12 months, I have collected these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, and IP address
  • Commercial information: details about your restaurant and the services you're interested in
  • Internet activity: pages viewed and actions taken on this site
  • Approximate location: general location derived from your IP address

This information comes from you directly and from your browser when you visit. I use it for the purposes described above, and I share it only with the service providers listed above.

Your rights

  • Right to know: ask what personal information I've collected about you and how I use it
  • Right to delete: ask me to delete your personal information
  • Right to correct: ask me to fix inaccurate information
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: I don't sell or share personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of
  • Right to limit use of sensitive information: I don't collect sensitive personal information
  • Right to non-discrimination: you won't be treated differently for using these rights

How to make a request

Email contact [at] conversioncrest [dot] com with "California privacy request" in the subject line, or call (909) 570-1217. I'll confirm your request by matching the information you give me with what I have, and I'll respond within 45 days. You can also have an authorized agent make a request on your behalf.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for restaurant owners and is not directed to children. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption and spam protection, and I limit access to the information you send. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect it.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
